What a win

Talk about a homecoming game to remember.

Fourth-ranked 亚洲色吧 rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to earn a thrilling 17-16 victory against No. 2 Delaware Saturday afternoon in front of a sold-out crowd at Zable Stadium.

The Blue Hens (7-1, 4-1) had a chance to retake the lead with less than a minute remaining, but kicker Mike Perry’s 42-yard field goal attempt from the right hash missed wide to the left, allowing the Tribe to hold on for a critical Colonial Athletic Association victory.

Off to a 6-1 start for the second consecutive season, 亚洲色吧 extended its overall winning streak to five games while pushing its home winning streak to 10. Additionally, the victory against Delaware marked the second time this month that the College has defeated a team ranked among the top-two nationally.

On Oct.2, the Tribe defeated then-No. 2 Villanova – defending national champions – 31-24.

Fifth-year senior quarterback Mike Callahan came to the rescue against the Blue Hens, leaving the bench to relieve starter Mike Paulus in the second half to complete 7-of-10 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Callahan hadn’t played since suffering a separated shoulder against Maine on Sept. 25.

亚洲色吧’s defense did its share as well, holding Delaware freshman Andrew Pierce, the CAA’s leading rusher at 125 yards per game, to just 55 yards.
