"AidData has given me the opportunity to learn more about international development. Coming in, I understood development in its practical form--for example, on the ground in Ghana, handing out agricultural equipment, or setting up a hospital in Uganda. However, I was never aware of the monitoring and evaluation aspect of aid, or the bureaucracy of aid, or the politics of aid before I came in to work, just to name a few. AidData has shown me another way to engage international development, and as I had hoped, expanded my understanding of what IR looks like." Darice Xue '16

We follow a design thinking methodology that allows students to have ideas and prototype them. This flexibility allowed my friends and I to rewrite geocoding training, as well as helping to train new interns." Lu Seiver '16
